Our Venue

Fruition House is a 180sqm event and gathering space on the first floor of The Royal Albert, a classic Art Deco building at the Salt River Circle, at 388 Albert Road, Woodstock, across from the Old Biscuit Mill.

It has high ceilings, a smooth floor you can sit, dance and lie on, a bar, a kitchenette, toilets and a private courtyard. We host workshops, ceremonies, movement and sound work, talks, screenings, launches and evening events with music, and the space is available to hire.

The main room is one open floor under a high ceiling. A band of windows runs along the top of the walls, and two sets of steel-framed glass doors open onto the courtyard. Plants in woven baskets and terracotta pots sit around the room, with a full-length arched mirror beside the courtyard doors.

Linen curtains hang from steel wires across the room. Pulled back, they gather against the pillars and the floor is completely open. Drawn closed, they wrap a held inner space inside the larger room, so a small circle feels contained while the bar and entrance stay in use outside it. You can close one side or all of them, depending on how private your event needs to feel.

At the back, a quieter alcove with a round mirror and floor seating works as a breakout room, a place to rest during long events, or a spot for one-to-one work while a group runs in the main space.

Windows on several sides of the room let daylight move through it from morning into late afternoon, so most daytime events run without overhead lights. In the late afternoon the sun comes in low through the courtyard doors. The high windows open, and with the courtyard doors open too, air moves across the whole floor, so breathwork, dance and full rooms stay comfortable on warm days. After dark, warm pendant bulbs give the room a soft, low light.

Facilities Included
